Producer David Baeta, journalist Philippe Burnet and director Simon Madore have each left their mark on a range of TV and radio series, namely BRBR, La portée des mots, Carte de visite, Entre les lignes, 360, (TFO), Relief (TFO/TV5 Canada), Les arts et les autres (SRC) and Passepart (TV5 Canada).

Driven by its purpose of bringing life to innovative and thought-provoking productions – with French flair – Machine Gum has fuelled three seasons of both UNIS TV’s flagship public affairs program, Couleurs locales, as well as the Gémeaux-nominated music documentary series, Balade à Toronto.

Their first documentary film, Les 24 heures du roman, was released in 2016 and showcased at the Montreal International Literary Festival.

To mark the country’s 150t h birthday, the documentary series Ma vie made in Canada (UNIS TV) seeks to explore what it’s like to survive a whole year on nothing but Canadian-made products.

Creating memorable on-screen experiences, one project at a time: this is Machine Gum’s credo. Each and every one of our creations is crafted by a seasoned and talented crew who shares our passion.
